March 19, 2018, NEW YORK – Convene, a workplace hospitality platform with a fast-growing network of meeting and event venues and flexible workspaces around the U.S., announced that it has appointed veteran fin tech leader Andrew Webb as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). As CFO, Mr. Webb will be responsible for leading Convene’s finance, treasury, and legal departments, and working closely with Convene CEO Ryan Simonetti on corporate development initiatives. Mr. Webb is replacing Ken Clark, who served as Convene’s CFO for four years and recently left the company to spend time with his family.

Mr. Webb has over twenty years of finance and corporate development experience. He has served as a C-level executive for equity-backed companies since 2010, most recently at Candescent Health, a VC-based healthcare software and services company where he worked extremely close with the senior leadership team to manage all aspects of the business. Prior to that, he worked at several founder-lead, high-growth companies where he helped build world-class finance organizations and supported fundraising activity.

“We are thrilled to welcome Andrew to the Convene family,” said Ryan Simonetti, CEO and co-founder of Convene. “He has an impressive track record and is a genuine team player, builder, and leader. He has spent several years in fast-paced, venture-backed companies like Convene, and has what it takes to thrive in this environment. His wealth of experience will be an incredible asset to our team as we continue to grow Convene’s platform.”

“I am excited to be joining the team at Convene at a time when the company is seeing so much growth,” said Mr. Webb. “Convene is at the forefront of the massive shift taking place in the real estate industry right now and I look forward to working closely with the executive team to ensure Convene can successfully scale in the years to come.”

Mr. Webb joined Convene’s executive leadership team in February and is reporting into Mr. Simonetti.
