Convene Adds European Real Estate Director to Support Growing Portfolio

We are pleased to announce the addition of Neil O’Grady as Director of Real Estate to support Convene’s expansion across the UK as well as growth opportunities into Europe.

“Since entering London in 2022, the UK has performed incredibly well for Convene and our growing portfolio of brands.  The market is prime for expansion, making it the right time to bring on a dedicated director of real estate for the region,” said Brian Holland, global head of real estate at Convene.  “We are pleased to welcome Neil to Team Convene and know his real estate acumen and previous experience in the flex office sector will be an asset to our organisation.”

Neil has over 15 years of experience in the real estate industry, including eight years overseeing asset management and acquisitions for flexible workspace developer and operator The Office Group in Europe. As Director of Real Estate at Convene, he will be responsible for sourcing new locations for Convene and its growing portfolio of lifestyle brands including leasing opportunities, landlord partnerships, and prospective M&A deals with a geographical focus on London, the broader UK market, and continental Europe.  

During his tenure at The Office Group, O’Grady oversaw a portfolio of 2.2 million square feet and successfully led the company’s expansion, acquiring over 1.5 million square feet of real estate across London and three German cities.  Most recently, O’Grady served as Investment Director at Irish-based property development company Sonbrook.
