Convene Announces Amy Pooser as First Chief People Officer

Convene hires executive coach experienced in building and scaling culture at high-growth companies

July 3, 2019 (New York, NY) – Convene, the leading partner for commercial landlords in managing premium meeting and workplace solutions, today announced the hiring of Amy Pooser as the company’s first Chief People Officer. Pooser will lead Convene’s People and Culture and Learning and Development teams and will focus on driving Convene’s overall strategy through cross-team clarity, accountability, communication and collaboration. Pooser has occupied multiple senior management positions at high-growth, startup-to-public companies, bringing over two decades of experience to Convene’s executive team.

Pooser started consulting for Convene in mid-2018 before joining the executive team as its Chief People Officer in January 2019. In her role, Pooser will continue shaping and amplifying

Convene’s widely-regarded people and culture infrastructure while supporting the executive team on various strategic business initiatives.

Pooser is also the Founder of New Fashioned, a consulting firm that delivers coaching, consulting, advisory, and leadership search services that benefit notable PE/VC-backed growth companies and their boards. Additionally, she currently serves as a Board Member and Chief People Officer of ProductLab, an incubator that develops and operates technology-based companies, products, and services and is a Board Member of Sand Hill Pharma.

Prior to founding New Fashioned, she was on the founding team and an executive at athenahealth and a principal at Oxeon Partners.
