What separates an average workplace from a great one? It’s all in the perks, baby.
According to employee engagement software provider Quantum Workplace, the top employers in Inc.‘s Top Workplaces 2018 offer benefits that go above and beyond the standard lineup an average job offers.
The best employers on the list were more likely to offer things like generous paid maternity and paternity leave, healthy food options, game rooms, and support groups for things like weight loss, stress, and exercise.
Speaking of stress, the best workplaces are working hard to keep it to a minimum. 70% of top employers offered stress-relief breaks in the form of naps, massages, and required breaks, compared to just 47% of average workplaces. Health club membership reimbursement was another top work perk—54% of top employers offered this benefit, compared to 28% of average employers.
The data comes from Quantum Workplace’s survey of thousands of employees across the country, in partnership with Inc. Magazine.
