How our London Exhibition Spaces Inspire Interaction

Posted May 22, 2024 By Convene

There’s nothing more frustrating for exhibition sponsors than low-level interaction with delegates. That’s why Convene ensures the expo spaces within our portfolio of brands, which includes etc.venues, are adjacent to conference rooms rather than on a separate floor. By anticipating the needs of expo attendees when designing our venues, our spaces are set up to encourage delegates to spend time  circulating the stands and connecting with sponsors. Here are a few other smart ways Convene venues support greater engagement among expo attendees.

A group of delegates are taking food from a buffet scape that is at created in the gallery space at 133 Houndsditch, Liverpool Street

Unlimited Snack and Beverage Stations to Encourage Interaction

Our attendees love our unlimited snacks and beverages available at our Nourish snack bars and “Coffee Points” throughout our spaces.  Our sponsors also appreciate  being able to mix and chat with delegates at these high-footfall focal points

Lunchtime is Synonymous with Networking Time

More interactions between sponsors on their stands and attendees can be had during our standing buffet-style lunches in the exhibition area. Nothing encourages conversations and connections better than chatting over some of our executive chefs’ freshly prepared cuisine.

Greater Branding Opportunities

Throughout the exhibition space, we have designated branding areas – including various pillars, walls, windows - and sometimes even our artwork - can be adapted to ensure the whole floor has consistent themes to encourage delegates to search them out.

Increased Footfall for Stands

By locating our exhibition space as a thoroughfare between the entrance and the plenary, the plenary and the breakout areas, and between the show and the washrooms, we increase traffic passing exhibitors’ stands.

Tips to Remember When Picking Your Next Exhibition Space

When planning a conference and exhibition, one of the most important aspects is understanding how many stands a space can accommodate. Fortunately, the Convene portfolio of brands has created 3D interactive plans of all our conference venues in London. These plans include a layout with 3m x 2m exhibition stands so you can quickly see the most effective use of the space for your upcoming conference. We also include all the dimensions of our rooms in case you need a bespoke exhibition or installation.

If you want to experience the venue as a delegate, you can use our 360 degree tours on each of our location pages to explore the whole venue.
